Massive scam surfaces in sheep distribution scheme of Telangana

The initiative, launched in 2017 amid much fanfare by the then Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, was meant to help over 7.30 lakh shepherd families, belonging to Yadava and Kurma communities in the state, and to revive and encourage traditional occupations.
