Arabian Sea warming behind Wayanad landslides: Scientist

The formation of deep cloud systems caused by the warming of the Arabian Sea is resulting in extremely heavy rainfall in Kerala over shorter periods, increasing the risk of landslides, according to a senior climate scientist.
