Central Kashmir's water springs contaminated, 37 deemed unsafe

The Jal Shakti department has declared 37 out of 40 water springs in Srinagar and Ganderbal unsafe for consumption after tests revealed bacterial contamination. The decision comes after a hepatitis B outbreak in South Kashmir and a mysterious illness in Rajouri, which has claimed 17 lives.
