Arunachal moves ahead with first geothermal production well

Arunachal Pradesh has launched a pumping test at Dirang, the state’s first geothermal production well, to assess the reservoir’s potential for clean energy applications. The initiative could pave the way for geothermal-powered infrastructure in the Eastern Himalayas.
