Just 2.06% of Assam Police now obese, says BMI drive

Assam Police recorded a sharp improvement in fitness levels, with only 2.06 per cent of its 73,317 personnel found obese in this year’s BMI test, a steady decline since the drive began in 2023. The force says the programme is helping build a leaner, mission-ready cadre.
