The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has partnered with Skillible, a leading platform for experiential learning, to launch a groundbreaking initiative titled SAMBAV (Skillible's Academic Model for Business-To-Academic Ventures).
The program aims to upskill and reskill 1 million Indian students and professionals in critical new-age technologies.
SAMBAV will initially focus on specialisations in high-demand areas like software development, Artificial Intelligence, cybersecurity, and Salesforce development.
The program's curriculum will be meticulously aligned with industry requirements, ensuring graduates possess the skillsets coveted by employers.
"Through SAMBAV, we are forging a path towards a future where technical education transcends traditional limitations. We envision students as not just learners, but architects of innovation and catalysts for progress," stated Ankur Goel, Founder of Skillible.
This first-of-its-kind initiative promises a paradigm shift in technical education. It incorporates project-based learning, interactive sessions, continuous evaluation, and even virtual internships to equip students with practical knowledge.
The program leverages AICTE's internship portal, boasting an impressive 4.8 crore registered students and 48 lakh internships, to offer participants valuable real-world experience.
"AICTE is committed to nurturing a future-ready workforce that can spearhead innovation, drive economic growth, and propel the Indian technology sector to even greater heights," remarked Chandrasekhar Buddha, Chief Coordinating Officer at AICTE.
Following successful completion of the comprehensive SAMBAV program, participants will receive a jointly issued certification by Skillible and AICTE.
This recognition serves as a mark of their industry preparedness, technical expertise, and unwavering commitment to excellence.
Additionally, graduates will earn credit points aligned with the Ministry of Education's norms.
