Maestro of the tech world, Apple Inc, has recently set the stage for it’s next big reveal.
Apple has announced the date of it’s highly anticipated event, set to happen on September 9, 2024 with a tagline that resembles itself, “It’s Glowtime”. The event will take place at the Steve Jobs Theatre, Apple Park.
Promising to be another landmark moment for the tech world, Apple is primed to debut it’s awaited iPhone 16 lineup during it’s upcoming showcase.
Rumors have set the stage for some exciting changes, particularly for the iPhone 16 and 16 plus models. This includes, a fresh, vertically aligned camera system on the back, a sleek departure from the familiar design that could redefine mobile photography completely.
In addition, the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max are anticipated to sport even larger screens while still maintaining the Apple’s iconic three-camera layout.
A new bronze color option might also be added to the Pro family, sources said.
AI and Apple’s cutting-edge Apple intelligence features are likely to be front and center at the event.
Currently, only the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Maz support Apple intelligence, but if the rumors hold weight then the entire iPhone 16 lineup will be equipped to tap into this powerful technology.
Apple is also expected to roll out Apple Watch Series 10 and two versions of new AirPods.
The expected price range of iPhone 16 series are, $899 for iPhone 16 plus, $1,099 for iPhone 16 Pro and $1,199 for iPhone 16 Pro Max.
These prices are based on the US pricing which tends to be lower than in India due to import duties and GST. However, the actual prices may vary at the launch.
Other features to the debut also include, 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera with 2x optical zoom while the Pro series might come up with a 48MP ultra-wide angle lens.
On the power front, the iPhone 16 Pro is expected to introduce a game-changing ‘Capture button’ adding a new dimension to photo and video capabilities.
As for charging, the USB Type-C might stick around, just like the previous series with a promise of even faster charging speeds to keep powered up in no-time.
