Indian wearables brand boAt has unveiled the Storm Call 3 smartwatch, marking a milestone in the market with its built-in turn-by-turn navigation powered by Mappls MapmyIndia at an attractive price point.
The Storm Call 3 boasts an independent navigation system that operates autonomously, offering precise, doorstep-level directions without the need for a phone.
Leveraging Mappls MapmyIndia’s extensive mapping data in conjunction with boAt’s Crest app, it provides accurate guidance across numerous cities and villages throughout India.
In addition to navigation, the Storm Call 3 introduces the QR Tray feature, enabling users to save and access QR codes directly on the watch for added convenience during travel or daily use.
But navigation is just one aspect of the smartwatch. With a 550-nit square dial featuring a 240*296 resolution and a range of downloadable or customisable watch faces via the DIY Watch Face Studio, it offers versatility in design.
Bluetooth calling support, a sensitive microphone, and clear onboard speakers allow users to make and receive calls directly from their wrist.
Furthermore, the smartwatch is equipped with sensors to monitor heart rate, SpO2 levels, and sleep quality continuously. It also tracks energy levels and provides personalised sleep scores, while daily activity trackers and sedentary alerts promote an active lifestyle.
The Storm Call 3 boasts over 700 activity tracking modes, catering to various workout preferences such as running, cycling, swimming, and yoga. Its durable IP67 construction protects against water, sweat, and dust damage.
Available in Cherry Blossom, Active Black, Olive Green, and Silver Metal variants, the boAt Storm Call 3 offers a wide range of features at an affordable price of ₹1,099.
