In a recent update, Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) Chairman S Somanath revealed that the Chandrayaan-4 mission is currently in the developmental phase.
Speaking at the twentieth-anniversary celebration of the Sat Paul Mittal School in Ludhiana, Punjab, Somanath stressed on that space research is an ongoing process, highlighting the nation's significant advancements in the field.
Expressing ISRO's commitment to lunar exploration, Somanath reiterated Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of achieving a moon landing by an Indian by the early 2040s.
He underlined ISRO's continuous efforts in exploration missions, firmly placing India on the path of progress in space technology.
Moreover, Somanath highlighted ISRO's dedication to engaging students nationwide in various technology development projects, aiming to foster innovation and expertise among the youth.
Notably, India's Chandrayaan-3 mission successfully touched down on the lunar south pole in August last year, marking another milestone in the country's space exploration endeavours.
