In celebration of India’s robust startup ecosystem and its significant technological strides, the Ministry of Electronic and Information Technology(MeitY) and the MeitY startup hub are jointly organizing the Digital India startup day beginning from January 16-17th, 2024. Carrying the theme of “Catalyzing trillion dollar digital economy”
This two-day event is set to spotlight the achievements and potential of Indian startups, particularly in frontier technologies, its focal sectors being semiconductors, Artificial intelligence(AI),defense technology, augmented/ virtual reality and 5G.
Minister of state for skill development and entrepreneurship , Rajeev Chandrashekhar, accentuated, “India emerges as a pre-eminent nation in the use of technology for transforming lives, governance and democracy”.
The key highlights for the event include a corporate accelerator program, an investor meet providing valuable networking opportunities, capacity-building workshops to enhance entrepreneurial skills, and a startup pitching session as well.
The lineup promises an engaging platform for startups to exhibit their innovations and for investors to discover groundbreaking projects.
The Digital India startup day stands as a testament to India’s digital proficiency, reinforcing itself as a global player in tech-driven innovation. The event is further primed to fuel discussions by steering the nation's digital future.
