Several users across the world faced issues operating the social media platform ‘X’, formerly known as ‘Twitter’.
People suffered widespread service disruptions on Tuesday, leaving thousands of users in the UK, US, and Canada unable to access the site.
Two days prior, X’s owner, Elon Musk, shared plans to make the platform's news feed and advertising algorithms public. Musk stated that by making the code "open source" and providing regular updates, he intends to be more transparent about how the system decides which posts to recommend to users.
