Union Jal Shakti Minister and BJP candidate Gajendra Singh Shekhawat was seen assisting in issuing voters’ slips at a polling booth in Rajasthan’s Jodhpur after casting his ballot on Friday.
The Minister, also contesting from Jodhpur, exercised his franchise at New Government Senior Secondary School, Ratanada, accompanied by his wife Nonad Kanwar, and daughters Suhasini Shekhawat and Surangama Shekhawat.
Displaying a common voter's demeanor, the Shekhawat family patiently queued up and awaited their turn.
Following the voting process, Minister Shekhawat expressed confidence in BJP's triumph, predicting a clean sweep of all 25 seats in Rajasthan. “There is no doubt that the NDA will win more than 400 seats in the country,” he said.
Attributing the anticipated victory to the development initiatives undertaken by the Modi government over the past decade, the Union Minister emphasized the significance of their efforts.
After casting his vote, Minister Shekhawat proceeded to the booth counter near the school to assist in issuing voters’ slips, fulfilling his role as the Panna Pramukh of his booth.
