Chief minister of Andhra Pradesh has stepped into his power to reap political dividends ahead of ensuing Lok Sabha polls.

 

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s will kickstart 21-day-long bus yatra from Wednesday. Falling under the ‘Memantha Siddham’ series of the party’s election campaign, the bus yatra will travel across the state to consolidate the party's vote bank.

 

YSRCP has made elaborate arrangements for Jagan’s election campaign which will start from Idupulapaya village of Cuddapah district of Andhra Pradesh.

 

Senior leaders of Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party, which includes Kadapa MP Avinash Reddy, energy minister Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, regional coordinator P Ramasubba Reddy, chief minister’s programmes’ coordinator and MLC, Talasila Raghuram and others are have been monitoring the ground arrangements.

 

After reaching Idupulapaya, Jagan will pay tributes to his father and late CM YS Rajasekhara Reddy. He will start the campaign from his home constituency Pulivendula, soon after paying tributes to his father.

 

Jagan will travel through Veerapunayanipalle and Yerraguntla villages to reach Proddutur by afternoon where he will address a public meeting. People and party activists from all seven assembly constituencies under Kadapa Lok Sabha constituency would attend the meeting which will be held around 5 pm. Over one lakh crowd is expected to be present at the meeting.

 

Following the public meeting Jagan will, reportedly, proceed to the night camp in Allagadda via Duvvur and Chagalamarri. He is scheduled to stay at the Allagadda Bypass for the night before continuing his journey the next day.
