The Chief of the Army Staff/Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi visited the forward areas of the Poonch Sector on Saturday, reviewing the operational preparedness of Indian troops.

 

“He assessed deployment posture, surveillance measures, and security arrangements and reviewed the overall readiness of formations deployed in the sector.”

 

The Indian Army Chief also interacted with the troops.

 

“During the visit, the COAS interacted with troops and lauded the high standards of professionalism and readiness demonstrated by the soldiers deployed in the challenging terrain and commended their unwavering dedication and exceptional state of preparedness,” wrote the official ‘X’ handle of the Indian Army in a post.
