Oil marketing companies have increased the price of 19-kg commercial LPG cylinders across India, with a hike of Rs 6 per cylinder effective from Saturday.
However, the cost of 14.2-kg domestic LPG cylinders remains unchanged since August 2024.
With the latest revision, a 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder now costs Rs 1,803 in Delhi, up from Rs 1,797. In Mumbai, the price has risen to Rs 1,755 from Rs 1,749.50.
In Kolkata, the rate has increased to Rs 1,913 from Rs 1,907, while in Chennai, the price now stands at Rs 1,965, up from Rs 1,959.50.
This adjustment follows a price reduction of Rs 7 per cylinder for commercial LPG in February.
Domestic LPG rates unchanged
The price of domestic LPG cylinders remains steady. In Delhi, a 14.2-kg domestic cylinder continues to cost Rs 803, while in Mumbai, it is priced at Rs 802.50.
The rates in Kolkata and Chennai stand at Rs 829 and Rs 818.50, respectively.
ATF prices witness a marginal cut
Aviation turbine fuel (ATF) prices have been reduced by 0.23 per cent.
The price of ATF in Delhi has been lowered by Rs 222 per kilolitre to Rs 95,311.72 per kl, compared with Rs 95,533.72 previously.
This reduction follows a 5.6 per cent hike in February.
