Thousands of anxious candidates across Uttar Pradesh await the release of the Joint Entrance Examination Council Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) 2025 results, scheduled to go live today, 21 June, on the official website jeecup.admissions.nic.in.
Conducted from 5 to 13 June, the Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination (UPJEE) determines admission to polytechnic and lateral-entry engineering programmes across the state. Candidates who appeared for the entrance test can access their results using their application number and date of birth on the login portal.
The merit list will be published alongside the results. Those securing the minimum qualifying marks will feature on the list and become eligible for the next step — counselling and seat allotment.
Each correct answer carries four marks, with no negative marking for incorrect responses. The JEECUP scorecard will carry crucial details including the candidate’s name, roll number, group name, total marks obtained, state open rank, category-wise ranking, and counselling eligibility.
In the upcoming counselling rounds, qualifying students will be asked to register and submit their preferred choices for colleges. They may choose to freeze or float their allotted seats, with subsequent steps involving fee payment and document verification.
The counselling schedule is expected to be announced shortly after the results are made public.
