The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has issued a notice inviting medical colleges to enter their seats at the official portal— mcc.nic.in.
However, the students wait for NEET UG Supreme Court verdict and a final date for counselling of the 2024 academic session.
The committee will be accepting the seat details till July 20 from the participating institutions for UG counselling 2024 on intramcc portal.
“Institutes participating in UG Counselling 2024 are hereby informed that intramcc portal for contribution of UG seats is open now. Hence, Institutes are requested to start entering their seats on the portal at the earliest so that the process of seats contribution can be completed timely,” read the official notice.
The notice also mentions that the user id and passport for accessing the portal by the institution are the same as the previous years. They are further provided with the facility of ‘Forgot Password’, in case they have forgotten their password or wish to generate a new password.
In case of any technical enquiry, the institution can reach out to the MCC on the following contact numbers between 10 am to 6 pm— 011-69227413, 69227416, 69227419, and 69227423.
Additionally, for NEET UG 2024 counselling, the centre has said counselling will begin in the third week of July and will be conducted till four rounds. However, if students are found using any unfair means or malpractices during any stage of counselling or afterwards will be cancelled.
The NEET UG counselling will include 15 per cent all India quota seats at various central universities, government colleges, deemed universities and even seats allocated for the wards of Insured Persons (IP quota) at ESIC medical colleges and Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) Pune.
Meanwhile, the Supreme Court will hear all NEET UG 2024 related petitions on July 18 by a bench headed by Chief Justice DY Chandrachud.
