As the curtains drew close on the final phase of the general elections in Maharashtra, voter turnout stood at a modest 15.93 per cent by 11 am on Monday, according to poll authorities.
Thirteen Lok Sabha constituencies were up for grabs in the state, with varying levels of participation observed across regions.
Among the constituencies, Bhiwandi saw a turnout of 14.79 per cent, while Dhule recorded 17.38 per cent. Dindori led the pack with 19.50 per cent, while Kalyan trailed at 11.46 per cent.
The bustling metropolis of Mumbai witnessed mixed participation, with Mumbai North recording 14.71 per cent, Mumbai South lagging at 12.75 per cent, and Mumbai North West showing a promising 17.53 per cent.
