The star cast for the next season of "The White Lotus" just got even more prestigious. The hit HBO series has added Oscar winner Ben Kingsley and “Industry” star Max Minghella to its fourth season, alongside Finnish actor Pekka Strang.
This time, the biting social satire moves its drama from luxury resorts to the high-stakes glamour of the Cannes Film Festival. The cast is currently filming in some of the world's most iconic spots—from the sun-drenched beaches of St. Tropez and Monaco to the bustling streets of Cannes, with a few stops in Paris for good measure.
Kingsley and Max Minghella as well as Pekka Strang of "Tom of Finland" fame join as recurring characters, bringing their own brand of chaos to the show’s signature mix of wealth and dysfunction.
The season's ensemble cast includes Vincent Cassel, Steve Coogan, Chris Messina, Kumail Nanjiani, Ari Graynor, Alexander Ludwig, AJ Michalka, Nadia Tereszkiewicz, Corentin Fila, Dylan Ennis, Caleb Jonte Edwards and Marissa Long.
The guest cast features Chloe Bennet, Sandra Bernhard, Heather Graham, Max Greenfield, Frida Gustavsson, Rosie Perez, Ben Schnetzer, Laura Smet, Charlie Hall and Jarrad Paul.
Recently, Oscar winner Laura Dern, who previously collaborated with creator Mike White on his HBO comedy "Enlightened," boarded the cast after British star Helena Bonham Carter exited her role over creative differences.

Season four of "The White Lotus" will follow the story of a fresh group of White Lotus hotel guests and employees over the span of a week.
According to reports, this time around, the cast will be split into two rival film teams competing at Cannes, with one group based at a grand hotel on the Croisette and the other at a hilltop retreat.
The season is also expected to take aim at French customer service.
For the first time in the show's history, two “White Lotus” properties will feature in the same season, the Airelles Chateau de la Messardiere, serving as the White Lotus du Cap, and the Hotel Martinez as the White Lotus Cannes.
Created, written and directed by White, the anthology series has previously been set in Hawaii (season one), Sicily (season two), and Thailand (season three), which aired from February to April 2025.
The series streams on JioHotstar in India and is executive produced by White alongside David Bernad and Mark Kamine.
