Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh performed his "Dil-luminati" concert in Chandigarh on Saturday. During the event, he dedicated the concert to D Gukesh, the youngest world chess champion.

Diljit shared a video on social media praising Gukesh, saying, “I dedicate this show to Gukesh because he dreamed of becoming a world champion, and he achieved it. Problems come, and I face them every day too.”

While talking about the chess champion, Diljit also mentioned Allu Arjun's film Pushpa. He shared his love for the movie and referred to the famous line from the film, “Jhukega nahi.” Diljit joked, “If he won’t bow, will the brother-in-law bow?”

His comment made the crowd cheer loudly, and the singer promised them that it would be the best night of their lives.

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s wife also attended the concert. Before the concert, the Chandigarh Commission for Protection of Child Rights issued an advisory to Diljit, asking him not to sing songs promoting alcohol or drugs.

The advisory also prohibited him from changing songs with alcohol references and banned inviting children on stage.

The last leg of the Dil-luminati tour will take place in Guwahati on December 29.
