"It was a lot of sex scenes... and I was sort of worried about it too," the actress said.

Gwyneth Paltrow just got real about her steamy scenes with the much-younger Timothée Chalamet in their latest film "Marty Supreme."

The Oscar-winning actress joked that watching the film was nothing short of mortifying for her 19-year-old son Moses Martin whom she shares with ex-husband Chris Martin.

"Oh my God! My poor son. Can you imagine when he came to the premiere in L.A.? He wanted to die," Paltrow, 53, told actor Demi Moore during a recent Q&A held in support of her latest project at the San Vicente Bungalows in Santa Monica, California.

"He (Chalamet) was 27 or 28, and I was 50-whatever, and, I mean, it's weird," Paltrow said.

"And I [thought], 'Oh, if it's weird for me, then it's going to probably really weird for [him],' but actually, it was fine. It wasn't that weird."

"It was a lot of sex scenes... and I was sort of worried about it too, just having not done all that kind of thing in so long, but it was very comfortable, and it was fine," added Paltrow.

She said working with Chalamet for the Josh Safdie-directed film was a positive experience.

"He's so easy to work with. He's so brilliant and committed and comfortable and confident."

“Marty Supreme” follows Chalamet as Marty Mauser, a shoe salesman who is obsessed with becoming the world's best table tennis player in 1950s New York City. Chalamet recently won the Golden Globes and Critics Choice awards for the film.

The film also stars Odessa A'zion, Kevin O'Leary, Tyler Okonma, Abel Ferrara and Fran Drescher. It is running in theatres currently.
