Rhea Seehorn has officially joined the cast of “Running”, an upcoming feature film from Apple Studios.
Written by Bill Dubuque and directed by Gavin O’Connor, the movie follows a homeless high school track prodigy who leverages his athletic talents to escape a troubled past and discover a sense of family.
Seehorn, also known for her role in “Better Call Saul”, joins a star-studded line-up that already includes previously announced leads Spike Fearn and Brian Tyree Henry.

O’Connor has earlier spoken of his film and said he thinks of it as "an underdog story about the human spirit". "I started thinking about building a story around a homeless kid who doesn’t have a place in the world. No love. No friends. No family. The only home he knows is the streets. It felt like a great place to begin a character’s journey and tell an underdog story about the human spirit," he said.
Seehorn's latest work is "Pluribus". The series started streaming in 2025 and features the actor in the role of Carol. It revolves around the actor's character, a cynical romance novelist who becomes one of the last immune humans after a mysterious RNA signal from space infects humanity, turning the rest of the world into a perpetually happy, peaceful, and content hive mind. It also features Karolina Wydra, Carlos Vesga, and Miriam Shor.
