Tom Hardy isn’t out of “Mobland” just yet!

Despite explosive rumours that on-set clashes with executive producer Jez Butterworth and 101 Studios got him fired, insiders confirm the British star is currently in talks for a Season 3 comeback.

Producers are actively negotiating with Hardy to resolve the onset drama and keep his fan-favourite fixer, Harry Da Souza, on the Paramount+ crime series.

A recent report had set off considerable speculation about how Hardy's character would be written out of the show, given that a third season, while not formally announced, is highly likely in light of the drama's strong performance on the platform.

Created by Ronan Bennett and launched on Paramount+ in 2025, "Mobland" features Hardy alongside Pierce Brosnan, Helen Mirren and Paddy Considine.

The show follows the Harrigan crime family, with Brosnan playing patriarch Conrad and Mirren as his wife Maeve. Considine plays their son Kevin.

Butterworth co-wrote all ten episodes of the first season alongside Bennett. Production on the second season has already wrapped, having finished filming in March.

This is not the first time Hardy has been linked to on-set friction. The Hollywood star famously fell out with co-star Charlize Theron during the making of the 2015 movie "Mad Max: Fury Road" with director George Miller later revealing Hardy had to be coaxed out of his trailer.
