The makers of Yash’s highly anticipated action drama, 'Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups', have officially confirmed that the film’s trailer will be released on August 8. The announcement, shared via the movie’s official Instagram page on Saturday, marks the final countdown to its global cinematic release scheduled for August 26.
Directed by Geetu Mohandas and co-written alongside Yash, the multilingual production is shaping up to be a large-scale visual spectacle. Filmed simultaneously in Kannada and English, the project will also be dubbed into Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and several other languages to cater to both Indian and international audiences. Momentum around the film has been building for months, bolstered by a steady stream of promotional material and track releases.
Alongside Yash, the film boasts a high-profile ensemble cast featuring Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Rukmini Vasanth, and Huma Qureshi. A previously released teaser offered a brief, stylised look at the lead actresses, though details regarding their specific roles remain closely guarded. The teaser opened with a tongue-in-cheek warning urging younger viewers to stay away, paired with an enigmatic voiceover that fuelled further speculation about the plot.
Jointly backed by KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, 'Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups' is poised for one of the most high-profile pan-Indian theatrical debuts of 2026 when it hits screens on August 26.
