The head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has urged Iran to allow the inspections of its nuclear facilities during a general conference of the organisation.
However, Tehran has not yet responded to his comments. Still, the chief negotiator of the Iran-US nuclear deal, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, assured that he will take up the matter in the country’s supreme National Security Council.
The supreme National Council in Iran is headed by Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, along with the Iranian president and several cabinet ministers from the government parliament. The talks stalled after the US and Israel carried out airstrikes to prevent Tehran from acquiring nuclear weapons, which, according to several experts and OSINT sources, they believe Iran may have or was in the final stages of turning enriched uranium into bombs.
Both the US and Israel have failed to deter Tehran from giving up on its civil nuclear programme.
Meanwhile, the IAEA General Conference started at its headquarters in Vienna, Austria, on Monday. Both the IAEA and Iran agreed last week on "practical modalities" for resuming inspections of nuclear sites in the country.

IAEA chief Rafael Grossi said that it's up to both sides to implement the agreement, restore the lost confidence and move ahead.
The head of Iran's Atomic Energy Organisation, Mohammad Eslami, said, "The main incentive of the suspension of the inspections is the use of aggression against the nuclear facilities of Iran." Iranian diplomatic sources said Iran has proposed a resolution denouncing the attacks.
Meanwhile, the E3 nations, including France, Britain and the UK, are pushing Iran for talks to reinstate the earlier agreed position under the ongoing nuclear talks.
