Tehran has carried out fresh retaliatory missile and drone strikes on Tel Aviv military headquarters in response to an earlier strike by Israeli forces targeting Tehran’s military headquarters.

In an official statement, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said that its missile strike in Israel hit a military intelligence centre and a Mossad operations centre.

Iran’s Revolutionary Guards said a “more powerful” new wave of missiles has recently been launched towards Israel, Reports said.

“A new wave of fierce attacks by the armed forces, especially the army’s ground forces, with new and advanced weapons, has begun and will intensify in the coming hours,” it quoted Kiomars Heidari, commander of the Army Ground Forces.

Earlier, Israeli reports described a missile impact in the central coastal city of Herzliya as targeting a sensitive site, often code for a military or strategic target.

The tit-for-tat strikes entered the 5th day on Tuesday, with both sides actively launching military strikes on each other.

Reports indicate that the Iranian cyber force has penetrated and hacked into Israel’s Arrow air defence system, while Tehran pounded Tel Aviv with hypersonic Fatah 1 ballistic missiles that have sent shockwaves among the defence analysts in the region.

Meanwhile, Tehran has accused Israel and the United States of using psychological warfare tactics against the Iranian population.

The assertions were grounded in US President Donald Trump's earlier statement that said, “All Iranians must flee Tehran,” while hinting at the ceasefire between the two nations.

Additionally, China has broken its silence and condemned the ongoing escalations between Iran and Israel, accusing the US of remaining a bystander while world peace is facing a serious risk. The Chinese foreign ministry asked for quick de-escalation of the conflict.

Besides, Iran has also intensified its crackdown on the alleged Mossad Spy Network, threatening to execute all foreign intelligence agents if caught inside Iran.

“Those who have been identified in recent days as being involved in espionage have immediately had cases opened against them,” said one official.
