As per rules set by the organisation, the applicants must initially confirm their banking details in relation to any refunds prior to being allowed to download their admit cards.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has informed that almost four lakh candidates have managed to download their admit card for the NEET UG 2026 retest examination. Some candidates have experienced technical issues while downloading their hall ticket. In this regard, NTA has stated that steps have been taken to sort out such issues and admitted that the process is still going on in order to make hall tickets accessible to all candidates.

A number of candidates who were supposed to sit for the re-examination have complained about their problems due to the complications they face while using the NTA’s official website. Previously, the NTA had cautioned the candidates about the possibility of congestion on the portal due to the large number of users accessing the site at once.

As per rules set by the organisation, the applicants must initially confirm their banking details in relation to any refunds prior to being allowed to download their admit cards. A considerable number of students faced problems in relation to this particular process and were unable to proceed with the verification process.

The date for NEET UG 2026 retest will be on Sunday, June 21, between 2.00 pm and 5.15 pm in the usual offline pen and paper mode. This year, about 22.75 lakh aspirants had applied for the test of entry into medicine, while around 22.05 lakh students had appeared in the first attempt on May 3. The re-test on June 21 is going to be organised under rigorous monitoring and highly secure conditions to ensure absolute transparency in the entire selection process.

With the approaching date for the re-examination, there has been greater monitoring by the central government regarding the logistics and security arrangements. Recently, the cabinet secretary TV Somanathan assessed the overall readiness, with an emphasis on effective collaboration among the administrative, examining bodies, and security agencies.
