Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s annual interactive programme, Pariksha Pe Charcha, is set to return this year in a revamped format, featuring prominent personalities such as actor Deepika Padukone, boxing champion Mary Kom, spiritual leader Sadhguru, and others.
The event, aimed at alleviating exam stress among students, will be held at Bharat Mandapam in the national capital in a town hall format.
Organised by the Department of School Education and Literacy, the initiative has grown into a nationwide movement since its inception in 2018.
The 8th edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) has witnessed a record-breaking 3.56 crore registrations, a significant increase from the 2.26 crore registrations in the previous edition.
The programme, which encourages students to view examinations as a festival of learning, has resonated deeply with students, teachers, and parents across the country.

This year, the event will also feature personalities like Paralympian Avani Lekhara, nutritionist Rujuta Divekar, actor Vikrant Massey, and YouTuber Technical Guruji, among others, to inspire and empower students.
To further strengthen PPC as a "Jan Andolan" (people’s movement), a series of activities were conducted from January 12 (National Youth Day) to January 25 (Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Jayanti) at the school level.
These activities, which included indigenous games, creative competitions, yoga sessions, and student-led discussions, saw participation from 1.42 crore students, 12.81 lakh teachers, and 2.94 lakh schools.
Since 2018, PM Modi has been engaging with students, teachers, and parents through this initiative, offering tips on managing exam stress.
The first three editions were held in New Delhi, while the fourth edition was conducted online due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The fifth, sixth, and seventh editions returned to the town hall format at Talkatora Stadium.
This year’s event promises to be a unique blend of inspiration and practical advice, with a diverse lineup of speakers aiming to transform exam-related stress into a celebration of learning.
