The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Thursday extended the schedule for Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in six states and Union Territories, but did not change the schedule for West Bengal.
As per the revised schedule, the draft electoral rolls will be published on December 19, 2025, for Tamil Nadu and Gujarat; on December 23, 2025, for Andaman and Nicobar, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh; and on December 31, 2025, for Uttar Pradesh.
The last date for submitting the enumeration forms for Tamil Nadu and Gujarat is now December 14, 2025; for Andaman and Nicobar, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, it is December 18, 2025; and for Uttar Pradesh, it is December 26, 2025.
In the case of Kerala, the ECI said the schedule was revised earlier and the Enumeration Period was slated for December 18, 2025, while the draft Electoral Roll would be published on December 23, 2025.

In Goa, Lakshadweep, Rajasthan and West Bengal, the last date for submitting enumeration forms ended on December 11, 2025; and the draft electoral rolls will be published on December 23, 2025.
Earlier, the deadline for submission of enumeration forms for these six states and Union Territories was to end on Thursday and the draft electoral rolls were to be published on December 16.
