On the other hand, President Droupadi Murmu will begin her three-day visit to Uttar Pradesh from this Thursday, that is, March 19. Her tour will include religious ceremonies in Ayodhya, as well as a spiritual exploration of Mathura and Vrindavan.

The visit kicks off on the first day of the Hindu New Year in Ayodhya, where the President will serve as the chief guest for a significant ceremony at the Ram Mandir. She is expected to preside over the installation of the Shri Ram Yantra on the temple’s second floor — a ritual she will lead alongside the spiritual figure Mata Amritanandamayi. During her three-hour stay, the President will also take the time to personally honour several hundred workers whose craftsmanship and labour brought the temple to life.

By Thursday evening, the President will travel to Mathura, where her focus will shift to the evening aarti ceremonies at the ISKCON and Prem Mandir temples in Vrindavan. The following day, March 20, is packed with more intimate spiritual engagements, including a meeting with the saint Shri Premanand Ji Maharaj and a visit to the memorial of the celebrated mystic Baba Neem Karoli. She is also slated to visit the Udiya Baba Ashram and Davanal Kund.

Beyond the spiritual, Friday’s schedule highlights a significant healthcare milestone: the inauguration of a new Oncology Block at the Ramakrishna Mission Sevashram. This state-of-the-art wing is expected to provide critical cancer treatment to a region where such facilities are often scarce. The President will also spend time at Vatsalya Gram, an institution founded by Sadhvi Ritambhara that focuses on the care of the elderly and orphaned children.

The tour will conclude on Saturday morning with a visit to the Danghati Temple at Govardhan. The President will take the traditional Govardhan Parikrama after morning prayers at the site, covering the seven-mile circuit of the hill in an e-cart before leaving for Delhi.
