Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday reaffirmed that India’s stance on the various ongoing global tensions remains firm and consistent, stressing that New Delhi has always advocated for peace and stability. He noted that when two democracies stand together, their shared commitment strengthens the global call for peace.
Addressing concerns over escalating conflicts, the Prime Minister said the prevailing situation in West Asia is deeply troubling for India. He underscored that India firmly backs the resolution of all disputes through dialogue and diplomatic engagement, reiterating that conversation and cooperation remain the only viable path forward.

PM Modi further stated that India will continue to work closely with partner nations to safeguard the safety and security of Indian citizens residing in the region. His remarks followed discussions with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney at Hyderabad House in New Delhi.
The comments came amid intensifying violence in the region, where hundreds have lost their lives and several nations have come under attack after US President Donald Trump announced the launch of major combat operations against Iran on Saturday.
