Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a resolute message on Tuesday, underscoring India’s unwavering stance against terrorism and its enablers in Pakistan. Speaking at the Adampur Airbase in Punjab to air warriors, PM Modi praised the Indian Armed Forces for their decisive and coordinated actions during Operation Sindoor and sent a stern warning to Pakistan and terror groups operating from its soil.
Referring to the longstanding nexus between terror groups and the Pakistani military, PM Modi declared: “Jis Pakistani sena ke bharose ye aatanki baithhe the, Bharatiya sena, Bharat ki Air Force aur Bharatiyon ne us Pakistani sena ko bhi dhool chata di hai.” (The terrorists who relied on the Pakistani Army have now seen that the Indian Army, the Indian Air Force, and every Indian have made that army bite the dust.)
The Prime Minister asserted that India’s Armed Forces have demonstrated their capability and reach by making it clear to the Pakistani establishment that no part of Pakistan is safe for terrorists anymore.
“They’ve shown that there is no place left in Pakistan where terrorists can sit and breathe in peace,” PM Modi said.
In a direct and bold declaration of India’s proactive counter-terrorism doctrine, PM Modi reiterated:
“Hum ghar mein ghuskar marenge aur bachane ka ek mauka tak nahi denge.” (We will enter their homes and strike, and we won’t even give them a chance to escape.)
He also underscored the technological prowess of India’s military, saying: “Our drones, our missiles—just thinking about them will keep Pakistan sleepless for days.”
PM Modi's remarks came a day after he had addressed the nation, calling Operation Sindoor “India’s new normal” in response to the deadly terror attack in Pahalgam on April 22, which claimed the lives of 26 Indian tourists. Today, he reaffirmed that statement with emphasis.

“India's Laxman Rekha against terrorism is crystal clear now. If another terror attack occurs, India will give a reply – a solid reply. We saw this during the surgical strike, during the air strike. Now, Operation Sindoor is India's new normal.”
The Prime Minister lavished praise on the tri-services for their flawless execution of the operation, calling it a textbook example of joint military coordination.
“Every moment of Operation Sindoor bears testimony to the capability of Indian armed forces. The coordination among the Army, Navy, and Air Force was outstanding. The Navy established maritime dominance, the Army fortified the borders, and the Air Force executed surgical strikes and air defence with precision.”
He also commended the Border Security Force (BSF) and other paramilitary units for their crucial roles in maintaining internal security during this high-tension period. “BSF and other Forces displayed fantastic capabilities. The integrated air and land combat system performed exceptionally. This is true jointness — and it has now become a defining feature of our Armed Forces’ capability.”
PM Modi’s remarks not only applauded the Armed Forces’ role in defending India’s sovereignty but also signaled a definitive shift in India’s security posture: one that is offensive, unified, and unhesitating in dismantling terror infrastructure beyond its borders.
