Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar is expected to tender his resignation on Tuesday, marking a significant rupture within the BJP and potentially signaling an end to the alliance with the JJP.

Sources closely associated with the unfolding situation revealed that the crisis ensued after the JJP sought two seats, a demand that the BJP did not accede to, prompting preparations for Khattar's departure at the Raj Bhawan.

Reports suggest that Haryana BJP President, Nayab Saini is being considered as a possible replacement for Khattar, with indications pointing towards a collective resignation from the Khattar-led Cabinet today.

Furthermore, speculation is rife that Khattar might contest from Karna in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Against the backdrop of escalating tensions between the BJP and JJP in the Haryana government, CM Manohar Lal Khattar is set to convene a meeting of BJP and independent MLAs backed by the government.

Scheduled at his residence in Haryana at 11:30 am today, the meeting is poised to discuss potential strategies for government formation, possibly with the support of independent MLAs.

Interestingly, amid the simmering political turmoil in Haryana, Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala is anticipated to hold discussions with BJP president JP Nadda. Additionally, a meeting of party MLAs has been convened in Delhi around 11 am.

Speculation abounds that significant decisions may emerge from this gathering, as the JJP aims to field candidates in Hisar and Bhiwani-Mahendragarh Lok Sabha seats.

The recent defection of current Hisar MP Brijendra Singh from BJP to Congress on Sunday adds complexity to the evolving political landscape in the state.
