Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Mumbai on Wednesday for a packed schedule, including addressing legislators, commissioning naval vessels, and inaugurating a new ISKCON temple complex.
Narendra Modi to address BJP, Shiv Sena legislators
During his visit, PM Modi will address over 230 Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) and 40 Members of the Legislative Council (MLCs) from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Shiv Sena, and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) at a special session organised by the ruling Mahayuti alliance.
The session, to be held at INS Angre in south Mumbai, will focus on guiding legislators on public engagement, behavior, and strategies for the upcoming local body elections. According to a senior BJP leader, Modi’s address will emphasise the Mahayuti alliance’s message and unity.
Sources suggest the BJP is concerned about the conduct of some Shiv Sena legislators and is keen on ensuring a disciplined approach ahead of the polls.
