Powered by opener Sahibzada Farhan’s 73 off 41 balls and a late cameo from Shadab Khan, who scored 30 off 12, Pakistan posted a competitive total of 190 for 9 after opting to bat first.
Pacer Shadley van Schalkwyk was the standout bowler for the USA, finishing with impressive figures of 4 for 25.
Chasing the target, the USA kept losing wickets at regular intervals and eventually suffered their second consecutive defeat of the tournament.
