At least six people, including a Sub-Inspector, were killed while twenty-one others were critically injured after a double-decker AC bus overturned on the Lucknow-Agra Expressway in the early hours of Tuesday, Police informed. The accident took place around 5:15 am near Nibha Kheda village in Unnao district when the bus, travelling from Delhi to Bihar, reportedly went out of control, struck a divider, and overturned.

Eyewitnesses said the vehicle was speeding at the time of the incident and ended up hanging precariously on a roadside railing after the impact.

Police officials informed that nearly 50 passengers were on board. Preliminary investigations suggest that the driver may have dozed off at the wheel, leading to the loss of control.
