TDP Minister Janardhan Reddy has denounced the attack. In his statement, he stated, "I condemn the attack. As soon as I heard about the incident, I instructed senior police officers to register an FIR and take legal action against the person involved. There is no room for such conduct in public life. Those in public life must conduct themselves responsibly."

YSRCP condemned the act, stating that it was an indication of increasing impunity for those around power. Taking to platform X, the party posted, "This shameful act signifies the increasing impunity of people around power, where even law enforcement personnel are not exempt.
