Lutyens' Delhi witnessed a high-profile yet intimate wedding on Friday, as Harshita Kejriwal, the daughter of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal, tied the knot with her college friend Sambhav Jain.
The couple's journey began at the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, where Harshita and Sambhav met during their time as students.
Their families, however, opted for a more private celebration, keeping both the wedding and pre-wedding festivities understated and away from the public eye.
The wedding ceremony and the subsequent reception took place at Kapurthala House, a historic venue that also serves as the official residence of Punjab’s Chief Minister when in the National Capital.

Despite the low-key nature of the event, it was attended by a select circle of prominent guests, including Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, who was among the few invited to the ceremony. His presence was notable, with Mann walking into the venue alongside Kejriwal, reflecting the close relationship between the two political leaders.
The wedding celebrations began in the afternoon with the traditional Jaimala ceremony, followed by a reception in the evening. The reception saw a steady flow of guests, marking the completion of the wedding festivities in a private yet grand setting. Key leaders from AAP were in attendance, though the event largely maintained a family-oriented atmosphere.
