62 cr devotees have visited Mahakumbh so far: CM Yogi

With just three days left before the Mahakumbh Mela 2025 concludes, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced that over 62 crore devotees have attended the event so far. He described the gathering as one of the rarest events of the century due to the sheer number of visitors within a short period.

The Mahakumbh Mela 2025, being held in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, has attracted millions of devotees who are taking a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam each day. CM Yogi emphasised that this grand spiritual gathering helps people reconnect with their cultural heritage and spiritual roots.

A rare celestial event in Mahakumbh 2025

This year's Mahakumbh holds special significance as seers and astrologers believe that the celestial alignments occurring now happen only once every 144 years. This rare planetary combination has added even greater spiritual importance to the event, making it a once-in-a-lifetime experience for millions of pilgrims.

Held once every 12 years, the Mahakumbh Mela is not just a religious festival but a symbol of India’s deep spiritual and cultural traditions. For many, taking a holy dip at the Sangam is a dream come true, offering a sense of spiritual fulfillment and divine connection.

As the Mahakumbh 2025 nears its conclusion, the atmosphere in Prayagraj remains filled with faith, unity, and devotion, making it one of the most remarkable spiritual gatherings in the world.
