BJP chief Nabin to visit Uttarakhand on May 29-30

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has increased its organisational activities ahead of the 2027 Uttarakhand Assembly elections. As part of its election planning, BJP national president Nitin Nabin will visit Uttarakhand for two days on May 29 and 30.

 

During the visit, a detailed review of the state government and party organisation will be carried out. The focal point of discussions will on election strategy for constituencies where the party had lost earlier, along with strengthening booth-level work at the grassroots.

 

State BJP president and Rajya Sabha MP Mahendra Bhatt said all preparations for the national president’s visit have been completed, with several programmes planned from the airport to the party headquarters.

 

He said the national president will guide party workers and leaders for the upcoming Assembly elections and will also give a clear message to shift the organisation into full election mode.

 

Earlier, the BJP national president had chaired a meeting of the party’s Odisha core committee at the state headquarters in Bhubaneswar.

 

The meeting was attended by Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida, BJP state president Manmohan Samal, and other senior leaders. Nabin has also begun a two-day organisational visit to Odisha from Sunday. Speaking about the visit, BJP Odisha unit president Manmohan Samal said several high-level meetings will be held during the tour.
