Bharat Rashtra Samithi leaders like Khairatabad assembly constituency incharge Manne Govardhan Reddy and Corporator Manne Kavita Reddy filed a complaint at Banjara Hills Police Station against Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy. They complained that Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy used derogatory language against BRS working president KT Rama Rao.
The leaders of BRS have asked the police to investigate thoroughly Chief Minister's remarks, which they contended were offensive and inflammatory, and take necessary legal action.
The complaint comes in the wake of a series of complaints by BRS leaders against Revanth Reddy for making similar comments against party president K Chandrashekhar Rao and other opposition leaders.
Meanwhile, KTR's accusation that Revanth Reddy was colluding with the BJP has resulted in an ugly spat with BJP MP CM Ramesh, who has counter-accused that Rao had approached him with the proposal to merge BRS with the Bharatiya Janata Party when his sister Kavitha was incarcerated.

He said KT Rama Rao was unhappy now because the proposal to merge the parties was not accepted by the BJP. Rao had accused Ramesh, who hails from Andhra Pradesh, of landing a contract worth Rs 1600 crore for a road project in the Future City in Telangana under the Congress government, citing it as an instance of collusion between the BJP and Congress.
Addressing a student convention marking the merger of Telangana Rashtra Vidyarthi Sainik Parishad into the students’ wing of BRS, Rao said, “The Congress chief minister is handing out massive contracts to BJP MPs. Why is Rahul Gandhi silent on this dangerous alliance?”
KTR had earlier alleged that BJP MP from Andhra Pradesh, CM Ramesh, had helped the Congress government to secure the mortgage of Kancha Gachibowli land and had been rewarded with a road contract in the Future City. He alleged that Andhra contractors were looting Telangana in Revanth Reddy’s regime.
