The Congress Party has officially named 40 leaders as ‘star campaigners’ for the forthcoming Jubilee Hills Assembly by-election. The list of campaigners has been submitted to the Election Commission, according to AICC General Secretary KC Venugopal.
The prominent figures appointed include Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, AICC Telangana in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan, AICC secretary Viswanathan, TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud, and Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka. Numerous state ministers have also been named, such as N Uttam Kumar Reddy, Damodar Rajanarasimha, D Sridhar Babu, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Ponnam Prabhakar, Seethakka, Konda Surekha, Tummala Nageshwar Rao, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, and Jupally Krishna Rao.
The full list further incorporates various serving MLAs, MPs, former MLAs and MLCs, and other senior party leaders like Adluri Laxman Kumar, Vakiti Srihari, and G Vivek. The Congress intends to deploy its top leadership for comprehensive campaigning in Jubilee Hills, as the by-election has gained considerable political significance in Telangana.
