The Congress has decided to raise inflation, paper leaks, power and water supply, and law and order issues in the upcoming session of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha. This was decided at a meeting of the Congress Legislature Party (CLP), held under the chairmanship of former Chief Minister and Leader of the Opposition Bhupinder Singh Hooda.

The meeting commenced with a two-minute silence to pay tribute to the late former Chief Minister, Chaudhary Bhajan Lal.  During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on numerous significant issues of public interest, and a future strategy was formulated. Congress legislators voiced their concerns on a wide range of issues, including the burden of inflation, the continuously rising prices of petrol, diesel, and LPG, the SIR (Summary Revision of Electoral Rolls), bank scams, paper leaks, the NEET examination, exam cancellations, recruitment cancellations, CBSE paper evaluation, the deteriorating state of law and order, and shortages of electricity and water. All members suggested launching a major agitation across the state.

Hooda instructed all members, including legislators, district-level leaders, and Booth Level Agents (BLAs) to play an active role with full vigour in the SIR process until July 15. He urged them to remain vigilant against any form of irregularity. All Congress members were directed to ensure that no valid vote was deleted from the rolls, and, conversely, that no fraudulent votes were added.

Addressing a press conference following the meeting, Hooda stated that party leaders have met with the Election Commission officials regarding alleged irregularities in the Rajya Sabha elections. Furthermore, a response has been submitted to the notice issued by the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly concerning the holding of a "symbolic session" outside the Assembly premises.

Hooda announced that another meeting of the Congress Legislature Party has been scheduled for after July 15. During this meeting, the party's upcoming programmes and initiatives would be announced.
