Constitution's core spirit aims to unify nation: CM Saini

Saini said transparency, good governance, social justice, and people’s participation are the foundation of democratic governance, and the state’s policies are built on these values.

Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Wednesday said the core spirit of the Constitution is to strengthen, empower, and unify the nation. He added that his government is working for the development of all sections of society with the same commitment.

 

His comments came as he extended greetings on Constitution Day during an event held on the Haryana Assembly premises.

 

The Chief Minister said it was a proud day for every Indian because the Constitution gives equal opportunities, justice, and dignity to all citizens.

 

Saini said transparency, good governance, social justice, and people’s participation are the foundation of democratic governance, and the state’s policies are built on these values.

 

The Chief Minister said under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, the Constitution is fully protected, and the motto “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas” represents its true spirit.

 

Saini urged residents to stay aware of their constitutional duties and rights and to actively take part in nation-building. He said the dignity of the Constitution and the nation’s interest should always come first.

 

He said the future of India lies in the hands of the youth, who must stay committed to constitutional values and responsible citizenship. Speaker Harvinder Kalyan, Development and Panchayat Minister Krishan Lal Panwar, Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda, Revenue Minister Vipul Goel, Minister of State for Food Supplies Rajesh Nagar, several MLAs, and various officers were also present at the event.
