A couple reportedly killed their three-year-old daughter before dying by suicide at their home in Kurukshetra, Haryana, on Monday, police said. Police said the bodies were found hanging from a hook inside their house.

The deceased have been identified as Jatinder Kumar (30) and his wife Manju (28). According to police, the couple had been under severe emotional stress due to the prolonged illness of their daughter Advika, said SHO K Gate Baljeet Singh.

 

Police received information about the incident in the early hours of the day. A probe has been initiated, and the bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination, the officer added.
