The team recovered 2,56,846 narcotic tablets/capsules, 21,364 narcotic injections, and 738 vials from the accused.

The Fatehgarh Sahib police's campaign against drugs achieved major success when the CIA Sirhind team arrested six drug smugglers from Punjab, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh. The team recovered 2,56,846 narcotic tablets/capsules, 21,364 narcotic injections, and 738 vials from the accused. They also seized a scooter, motorcycle, and car.

SSP Fatehgarh Sahib Dr. Ravjot Grewal shared details about the operation. As part of Punjab Police's anti-drug campaign, a case was registered under the NDPS Act at Badali Ala Singh police station. The police dismantled a drug supply chain running from Uttar Pradesh to Haryana and Punjab.

The CIA Sirhind team arrested Parvinder Singh from village Chalna Khurd in SAS Nagar. He was found with a large quantity of narcotic injections, vials, and tablets. Investigating further, the police learned that Parvinder Singh both used and sold drugs.

He had been getting medical drugs from a person named Sahil in Yamunanagar and supplying them in Fatehgarh Sahib and Mohali. Sahil was later arrested along with narcotic tablets/capsules. Sahil ran a gym supplement store in Yamunanagar, which he used as a cover to distribute the drugs in Haryana and Punjab.

Sahil revealed during questioning that he got the drugs from Pankaj Chaudhary (also known as Virat) in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh. The CIA team arrested Pankaj Chaudhary and Shubham, who were partners in the drug business. Shubham had an illegal warehouse in Saharanpur, where large quantities of narcotic injections and tablets were found.
