A shocking murder took place in Haryana's Hansi on Thursday morning when a 25-year-old gym owner was shot dead by unknown attackers. The victim was reportedly training a group of people when two men on a motorcycle opened fire on him.
The incident took place around 5.30 am near Fawwara Chowk. The victim, identified as Deepak, was conducting an outdoor training session with his students outside the gym when the attack occurred. He suffered multiple gunshot wounds and died at the spot, according to reports. CCTV footage of the incident has also surfaced.
The video shows Deepak leading a group of five to six people, including a woman, during a workout session. They were performing step-up exercises on a staircase when two men arrived on a motorcycle. One of the assailants, wearing a white cap, got off and opened fire. Panic spread immediately as those present ran for safety.
According to reports, the victim was originally from Jind and had been running his fitness centre in Hansi for the past three years. He had recently shifted to a new location to expand his business and had also got married recently. Police teams are searching for the attackers.
The reason behind the killing is not yet known. Police are examining all possible angles and have launched an investigation into the case.
