Haryana Minister Arvind Sharma said the Haryana Tourism Department will organise ‘Heritage and City Walks’ on May 30 at six important historical sites in the state. The initiative aims to bring Haryana’s history, culture and traditions closer to people.
Talking to mediapersons on Tuesday, Sharma said the Haryana Tourism Corporation regularly organises such programmes at both national and international levels to promote and strengthen the state’s cultural identity.
He said these initiatives help connect people with their roots while showcasing Haryana’s heritage to the younger generation. According to him, such events encourage public participation and create greater awareness about the state’s historical legacy.
The minister reiterated that the ‘Heritage and City Walks’ will be conducted on May 30 at six prominent historical locations across Haryana. He added that QR codes have been introduced for easy registration and invited citizens to take part in the programme. Sharma said the Tourism Department and the Haryana government welcome everyone to join the walks and experience the state’s heritage firsthand.
