The two-day 'Haryana Yuva Samvad' commenced on Wednesday at the Haryana Vidhan Sabha complex, providing a platform for young students to share their perspectives on various topics related to the state's development.
The event, aimed at engaging youth in meaningful discussions, saw enthusiastic participation as students presented creative solutions and innovative ideas.
An official statement highlighted that one of the primary themes discussed on the first day was the role of digitalization in Haryana's development. Participants deliberated on various aspects, including the promotion of e-governance and e-literacy in the 21st century.
Key discussions revolved around strategies for developing and expanding digital infrastructure in the state, improving administrative efficiency through digitisation of government services, and introducing innovative initiatives to promote digital literacy in rural areas.
Other crucial topics included measures to bridge the digital divide and ensure equal access to information technology, as well as the implementation of smart cities and digital villages.
Another significant discussion focused on empowering women for a progressive Haryana, with gender equality identified as a fundamental pillar of development.

The young participants evaluated the effectiveness of existing policies on women empowerment and suggested improvements. They also proposed action plans to address gender disparities in education, healthcare, sports, and employment, aiming to create a more inclusive and equitable society.
Deputy Speaker of the Haryana Assembly, K. L. Middha, addressed the gathering and emphasized the transformative power of digitalization. He remarked that the keyboard has the potential to change the world and encouraged the youth to not only seek employment but also aspire to become job creators who can contribute to societal progress.
Congress MLA Geeta Bhukkal also addressed the event, underscoring the importance of integrity in leadership. She stated that while politics serves as a medium for public service, individuals should strive to become good human beings before aspiring to become great leaders.
The event continues to provide a vibrant forum for young minds to exchange ideas and propose actionable solutions for Haryana’s development.
