A major road accident occurred on National Highway 352D in Haryana’s Rewari district on Saturday, triggered by thick fog that drastically impaired visibility and resulted in a pile-up involving multiple buses.
Initial reports indicate that three to four buses crashed into one another during the early morning hours, primarily due to the heavy fog that severely limited sight on the road. The buses were en route from Rewari towards Jhajjar at the time of the incident.
Sources reported that numerous passengers suffered injuries in the collision and were promptly taken to nearby hospitals for medical attention. The precise number of people injured remains unconfirmed at this stage.
Police teams arrived at the scene shortly after the accident was reported and initiated an investigation. Early findings point to reduced visibility as the main factor behind the crash, although authorities stated that the full details of the circumstances will only be determined following a thorough inquiry.
